( Clarke has no idea what the Drabwurld dictates to be a good 'thanks for making sure an entire forest didn't burn down!' gift, so she's going to wing it. an imp will find Jack wherever he happens to be in the Drabwurld and deliver him a small box containing some harder to find first-aid supplies, a little batch of cookies from a local baker, and a small collection of tokens and favours from people that had been able to travel through La Llorona to the safety of the Third Spire due to Jack (et all)'s efforts. Clarke writes her own short note to accompany the package. )

I'm not sure if this is something people do here, but where I come from, I've learned you thank people however you can. I know you didn't have to help La Llorona, but I appreciate that you did. If I can ever return the favour, just let me know.

[A couple of days after Dave's network post, Jack is visited by one of his wood birds carrying a letter with his name and a doodled snowflake on it. (Papyrus but written with a pen like only Dave would do.)

In the letter he explains he's learned lockets are being watched and that's why he's worked on this little project of enchanting toys as a carrier service. If Jack ever needs to send a letter or small package through a safe messenger, these gals are at his service. He also says that he knows Jack problaby gives a damn about this and would probably rather do the delivery himself by freezing a thing or two, but considering how difficult the war situation, he'd rather be safe than sorry. He warned you, bro, no complains in the future.

The little bird will stay for a moment, perched on Jack's staff (not bothered by the cold) in case there's anything to bring back before returning to its master.]
