Blue's definitely more my color than the dull brown I used to wear.

I think so. It didn't take long for me to recover that one time, but ... well, it was a complicated time. Besides, I like using my stuff for happier things. Things that get people having fun, you know?

Oh, I said blues! Lots of blues! Dark and light, so it wouldn't be much like a sapphire. Like snow glistening in the sunlight or the dark night skies in winter. Maybe blue eyes, perhaps, though not so much either of you.
[ Leave it to Alice Liddell to correct someone on colors. It seems like a very Alice-like thing to do, regardless of how old she is. ]

Courtship!? [You bet that has his attention, more so than anything else at this point as his eyes light up, blue like the tones that Alice herself describes. He releases a small chuckle, filled up a sudden amusement at the subject.]
Oh, sure. So boring that little Alice suddenly has herself a boy. Do you really?
He is most certainly not a boy! [ Not anymore, anyway, but that's besides the point. Alice turns her head away as she flops her hands on her apron. ]
He is a knight! [ THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO COME OUT THIS WAY. ] And he is his own person.
[ Since this is a new thing for her, she's really hesitant to refer Lancelot as her's. It feels silly to her to talk about someone as if they were a possession, in her opinion. ]
[ There's two things wrong with this: for one, she thinks he's serious for a second. The other being that Alice was about to correct him in saying she hadn't been a small child for every long. ]
