( out of character ) backtagging / i can literally backtag forever. threadhopping / that's totally fine by me. fourthwalling / fine in certain cases. jack is aware of folklore and stories of spirits, including multiple stories about jack frost (or in some cases: jokul frosti, old man winter, etc). it's fine to talk to him about these different stories as long as it isn't about him specifically and his direct canon (rise of the guardians). triggers / personally, i'm fine with most things. jack tends to be sensitive to topics of drowning and death. ( in character ) hugging / jack has grown accustomed to being invisible and having people walk through him, therefore he's not used to physical contact of any sort, so hugging might leave him quite surprised and possibly uncomfortable. chances are, he might not return it unless he knows and is fairly close with the character. kissing / same as the above, but there'll be higher chances of him not being too comfortable with it. as a spirit, he knows next to nothing of romantic intimacy and it will take a high amount of closeness for him to ever accept being kissed. sex / ahaha, chances are high that this isn't going to happen at all, or at least not for a very, very long time. but just for reference. flirting / jack has plenty of fun with teasing and playful banter, leaving him prone to slight possibilities of flirting without stemming too far into any actual romantic intentions. if it's a more intimate approach, he might feel a bit awkward about it. fighting / entirely okay although jack tends to try to avoid getting into actual fights. he prefers the more carefree, friendly route of things and will care more for a battle with snowballs than a serious fight. however, if angered enough or if his friends are threatened or hurt, he will fight back if he has to. injuring / would prefer to discuss first. he has enough magic power to fight back in battles, but he can still be easily prone to injury. killing / NAH that's just mean. how cruel of you. plus, he's already dead. telepathy & mind reading / would prefer to discuss first. basically though, his mind isn't all fun times and snowballs, showing a more sensitive, fragile side that's rather lonely. ( other ) magic coercion / as the guardian of fun, jack has a special ability that is a bit like magic coercion in which he can enchant someone with snow (be it a snowball or a flake, etc) bringing out a more optimistic, fun-spirited side of their being — their "inner child", if you will. this ability does not injure anyone in any way; it only enables the character to brush away negative thoughts and become more willing to engage in fun activities. it does not change the character's personality and simply brings out a part of them that may not surface often. the effect varies in length but may last between several minutes to an hour, depending on the character. please fill out this form to grant me permission to allow Jack to use it on your character if a thread somehow leads to its use. frost magic / being a winter spirit, jack has the ability to create frost and snow, as well as manipulating winter weather. if your character is highly sensitive to cold or uncomfortable with low temperatures, and if you want jack to keep his distance, feel free to let me know. heat and fire / contrasting with the above, jack's body is entirely cold, hence making him highly sensitive to hot temperatures. while he can handle warm weather (albeit feeling a bit uncomfortable in it), he generally keeps a good distance from fires or highly heated areas if possible.

other notes ❅ Saber possesses a very strong Magic Resistance. What this means is that if Jack is just casually flinging the coercion at her, it'll literally bounce right off her (and alert her to someone trying something). If he concentrates and tries harder, it'll still not affect her, but it will 'slide' more off her than bouncing. BUT, if he really gets into it and tosses in some kind of incantation (a Christmas song will count) while using it on her, it'll break past her Magic Resistance.
